This painting is a typical Canadian painting.  It is inspired by Tom Thomson.  I wanted to create something that had the feeling of Canada in it.  This painting depicts our rivers and our trees.  The canoe is really a symbol of freedom in our nation.  You and I are that Canoe.  The River is the River of God.  You are free in Him to do whatever he calls you to do.
