God will Fight for Israel
2 Samuel 5:20
So David went to Baal Perazim, and David defeated them there; and he said, “The LORD has broken through my enemies before me, like a breakthrough of water.” Therefore, he called the name of that place Baal Perazim.
It is hard for me to write what I am about to write. There is so much warfare around what is taking place in the nation of Israel, particularly with Gaza. Most seem opposed to Israel now and not many are standing with them. Even those that support them are opposed to much of what they do.
But I had a dream and I feel I must share it. Matthew 10:27 says, "Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear proclaim on the housetops." So with this scripture in my mind I share my dream.
In this dream I was on what appeared to be an ark. Although it was made of wood it had some very futuristic elements. There were giant TV screens everywhere and I heard a voice that said, “Behold the miracles of God.” I knew that each screen represented a different miracle, but I was transported to one of the screens in particular. It was like looking out a window. I saw what looked like the beautiful land of Israel. It was a warm day and I could see the earth, the homes and even palm trees. But suddenly dark clouds began to form. I could feel the wind and the rain on my body as it started in the picture.
I then heard a voice say, “Even the floods will fight those that oppose Israel.” I also heard ‘Gaza’ in the dream. I then saw rain fall faster than I have ever seen rain fall before. I am certain that those who would have seen such rain would have blamed it on global warming, but it was the hand of God. I saw a giant river begin to form in the streets of this region and the waters began to destroy everything they met.
I felt that God was saying do not fear the future of Israel because he was fighting on their behalf. Whether the wild waters are to be taken metaphorically or literally I don’t know, but God will be fighting on Israel’s behalf. And for those who might be angry about this. This is not because Israel has somehow earned it but rather because God has a plan for them.
